The Last Service The final Methodist Service at Wesley was held on 3rd September 1978. A recording was made using rather basic recording equipment, but its been cleaned to remove noise and been subtitled. So here is your chance to listen again the the Organ, played by Gwennie Bishop, and hear the final address. Unfortunately the recording shut off in the final few sentences of the Address (he obviously went on too long) but the sentiment comes over. Put on your best Cadbury Heath accent and join in with the hymns (which have come out surprisingly well!). |
